Temple Bar in the Temple Bar district

I spent several evenings here. It is a bit of a tourist trap, but it was always packed with a ton of fun people. This is where I met Kieran, Gerard, Sini and all of her friends.

Finland is such a beautiful place. Don't you agree. ;)

Keiran and Ulla

I ran into Keiran and Gerard at the Temple Bar talking about this group of Finnish girls sitting nears us. I convinced them to go over at talk to them. After considerable proding Keiran walked up and said hello. Do you regret it now Keiran?

Gerrard is one very happy man, until he finds out she is engaged. ;)

Sini and I

She is a student studying to become a speech pathologist. They were in Ireland for two weeks to study in English. The two of us have been e-mailing since. She has become a very good friend. I am glad we all met.

Breakfast at 4 AM after a night of dancing.

It's a little blurry, but seems fitting. ;)

Sini, Kevin a an Australian friend and Lise

This was taken later in the week after Sini had e-mailed me and convinced me to come back to Dublin. On the way back I ran into Lise on the bus. She was working at the hostile I was staying in. It was a fun bus ride back to Dublin. We talked about everything, including a few racy subjects that may have offended the nuns sitting in front of us. ;) Then there was the transvestite in the kilt. That was an experience.

Ok so I am a romantic sap. ;)

You are one crazy woman, and I love it!!!!

Rocky and his owner

This guy was sitting outside of the Guinness brewery taking donations for allowing people to photograph him. He went to all the trouble to roll around in saw dust so I had to.

Grafton Street

St. James's Gate

I have longed for many years to stand outside this gate. Actually I have longed to bathe inside one of the vats of Guinness, but visiting the brewery was enough for now.

Guinness used to own their own tankers. Wouldn't that be a dream job; to captain a vessel carrying precious cargo.
