This is my best friends family (Summer 2002)
Steve and I have known each other since we were 15. Steve Leslie and their son Micah live in New Delhi India now. It gets a little tough to stay in touch, but we manage to keep the friendship strong despite the distance. When things are going on (good or bad) he's the first person I think to call. Unfortunately AT&T won't let me make calls to India on my cell phone so we still manage to stay in touch via chat sessions and e-mail. ;) |

Surf trip to the Oregon Coast (Summer 2002)
Steve taught me my love for surfing. I still suck after all these years, but I love the sport regardless. This picture was taken during his vacation to the states this last summer. |

Baby Micah (October 2000)
It was amazing to see the look on Steve's face the day that Micah came into this world. Leslie was laying there exhausted but gracefully let me come in. Steve handed me this little tiny thing in a blanket. I looked up from Micah's little face to see his dad's tears of joy and pride. I look forward to the day that the tides are turned and I am handing my child over to my best friend for the first time. |

Mt St. Helens (1994)
Like most things we did this was a last minute desision to hike a mountain. So at 1 in the afternoon we hit the trail thinking we could conquer the mountain and return to the trail head by night fall. Uh hm. We turned around probably a half hour from the summit and fourty five minutes from dusk. Ok so we aren't the smartest adventurers, but at least we aren't afraid to try. ;) |

We have all gone our way, but still manage to keep up on one another. James is a pastor in Wilsonville, Dan is in Germany with his wife and son pastoring military high school students. |

Dan's the camara man (Spring 1994)
The three of us camped out at Timothy lake at the begining of spring or was it the end of fall. Which ever it was the water was still damn cold. I tricked Dan and Steve to run in while I laughed from the shore. . . . I can't remember, did you guys throw me in? I sure would have.
Dan do you remember this? . . . Amigos! We ride!!!!!!! |

Henry, Steve, James and I (Spring 2003)
All three of us knew each other in high school when we all went to church together. Here we are years later, for Henry seven children later (smile). After graduating HS I joined the Coast Guard wich took me to Oregon, these guys ended up going to Portland to attend Multanomah School of the Bible. I would take off on the weekends and drive to Portland to see them. We would meet here at Flying Pie Pizza off of Stark all of the time. Just down the street from a house several of the guys rented together. |

James was a year behind Steve and I in HS, but followed Steve to Portland and to bible college. Now he's the Associate Pastor at Grace Church in Willsonville, Or. |

Dan Combs!!!! Steve, Dan and I had so many adventures together. I miss those times and would love to re-live some of them again. The ice cold waters of Timothy lake and tricking you guys into diving in as I watched from the shore, betting Dan he wouldn't run naked into the ocean then locking him out of the van while he stood naked in the phone booth. ;) Water fights in the guys house soaking everything in sight. Dude your constant laughter will always stick with me. |

Mark Brown and Steve Weightman (Summer 2003)
Mark has been a true friend through the years that I have known him. I have watched him get into all sorts of things over the years, from the long haired days and Angie (remember her), to getting your girlfriend pregnant and then living with me after a shot gun wedding in Vegas. (Ok some memories are best forgotten) ;) And now as a single full time parent of two boys, I am setting you up on dates again. Keep in mind that I was the one who set you up with the ex, so take my set ups with great caution. ;) |

Fourth of July 1999
Who's the wet hippy up front? I think we all have a varity of friends. This is the orange county crew. Friends I have had from high school that have grown in size through college and dating. I started with this group when I met a couple of girls at a halloween dance my sophmore year in high school. I was dressed up as a dirty old man. Hince the nick name Gramps that I have carried ever sense. |

1st prize winners
Every summer, for years, Kathy's family would converge on a small town south of Sacramento to camp out and celebrate the Fourth of July. Kathy would invite all of the gang to come along. This was the last big year at the Delta. This was taken at the fourth of July parade. Obviously the groups theme this year was Animal House. How fitting!!! We soaked that entire town, including the firemen and police officer. |

Kathy, Genevieve ? and me
A night with Kathy on the town here in Seattle. I have known Kathy since high school and Genevieve since I was 19. I think the night I met Genevieve was the night I passed out in her bathroom. Hey it happens to all of us at least once in our life. I was 19 ok!!!! |

Margaritaville
One of the first trips to Vegas with the gang. Actually one of two trips that we took to Vegas. So are we ever going to do this again? |
|
|
|
Ok if the OC group failed in the Vegas arena My extension from that group in the Bay Area has surpassed them three fold. I think Las Vegas International Airport has face recognition security cameras that warns all the casinos . . . and bars . . . that we have arived. This was the first night in Vegas for Meier's Bachelor Party. We ruled the Piano Bar in NYNY. Unfortunately I have been banned from publishing any of the really good pictures from that weekend. ;) |
