Travis, me, Krystel and Kendra
Krystel and Travis were students in the youth group I worked with for about nine years. I remember Travis coming in as a skinny little 90lb rat, now look at him and Krystel was always too old for the rest of the "kids." She would sit in back and keep herself above the rest of everything else going on. ;) Kendra I got to know later after I had gone through my own divorce and was living down the street from the girls. Kendra will you ever forgive me for getting you drunk? ;)
It's funny how I was one of their counselors growing up, but as an adult when I needed the friendship at a difficult time in my life, they were there for me. |

Kari Sue Rosburough. I've known Kari Sue for several years. She and I worked with youth in Portland and still keep in touch with each other now that we both live in Seattle. We still hangout about once ever other month. Thanks for the Dave Matthew's concert. That was my best b-day present yet. ;) |

Debbie Hunter
We have been friends for several years now. Having met through one of my clients a while back when I was consulting in Portland, she and I hit off right away. We still keep track of one anothers lives and the latest happenings. I think she lives vicariously through some of my adventures. . . . If you ever get the opportunity to hear her sing take it. She is amazing. |

The Boyz at Eriks wedding
I know most of these guys when they were in Jr. High and I was a counseler for a high school youth group. Erik and Joel later started their own band and would practice each night before the meetings. God they were bad!!!! But now they both have their own respective bands and are both great in their own unique styles. |

Cassidy and her boyfriend Jeremy
I have known Cassidy for several years now. I used to frequent the Cheerful Tortoise two or three times a week in Portland where she was a waitress. I had made several friends there over a two year period and when I left to move to Portland they had a going away party for me. Everyone should have a their own personal Cheers at some point in their life. Mine came with Cassidy. ;)

Me with Cheri and David
David was my roommate in Portland after I bought a house in N. Portland. He lived with me for two anda half years. During that time he became as close as a brother. Cheri was his girlfriend then, and now his wife and soon to be the mother of his child. ;) |

Chuck Nakvasil (Summer 2003)
I met chuck several years back as a friend of a friend. That friend being his ex-girlfriend. Well she is long gone for both of us, but a necessary evil for the two of us to become great friends. ;) We used to call Chuck Mr. "No Show." You could never count on him to be some place, but it was just one of those quirks that you learned to accept if you were to value many of his other great qualities. |

Chuck and his wife Erin
I have actually known Chuck's wife much longer. I met Erin years before when she was attending bible college with several of my friends. She's know putting that wealth of knowledge to good use as a bartender. . . . When I open my Irish Pub, she's number one on my list as head bartender. ;)

Theresa and Tom (Sr.) Vice
When I came to Portland back in 1991 I landed at a church where I wanted to work with youth. I started working under a man named JT Schulz. In that youth group I met a family that would become a home away from home for me. The Vice Family. Here are Ma and Pa Vice. |
