Here I am helping a couple kids stay out of trouble at a party near my friend Jamie's house on the 4th. I showed them the best way to deal with the police that were bothering them was to distract them. So I brought over a couple plates of food and the chance to have a photo op with these two very anxious girls I asked to assist me. Damn I can be devious!!!! ;) |

Laura and Craig on a night out doing some Karoake.
Laura and Craig Christian are two of those great friends. Altthough they are die hard left liberals, it's Craig's ability to make damn strong beer and Laura's ability to drink me under the table that keeps our friendship strong. . . . Ok and they are also two of the coolest and most down to earth people you could ever meet. I am really glad that I am counted as a close friend of theirs. |

Michelle and Jessica squared. Here I am at a dinner at Jessica's house. As you can tell from the book I have entered into the middle of relationship 101 with these girls. For some reason they are all getting married this year. So of course being the jaded man that I am, I had a ton of great questions of my own . . . "what's his middle name" was my favorite, especially when two of them couldn't answer that. |

Marissa and Lynn (New Years 2003)
Marissa and I were friends from Sonus, where I worked as the IT Manager. After moving to Seattle where she and her husband Eric lived, I stayed with them while I was setteling the sale of my house. After my first year in Seattle they moved back home to Colorado, but not before introducing me to some great friends. |

Greg, Eric, Laura, Marissa and Michaela (my then girlfriend) (New Years 2003)
This was at a bash held by Lynn's husband under El Gaucho’s. What a night!!! Eric kept passing out Champaign like it was flowing from the faucet. If you weren’t drunk before midnight, Eric made sure you were afterwards. ;) |

Jessica and me
Jessica and I met in March of 2002. Our friendship has grown so much in that time. Through dating, heart break and friendship, I think we have both taught each other a tremendous amount during that time. One of my most valued friendships here in Seattle. |

You are an amazingly beautiful woman and a great friend Jessica

Something that Jessica taught me is that family doesn't always have to conform to the traditional forms. I plan on being around Lexi for a long time.

Crystal Mountain (February 2004)
Jessica introduced me to her friend Kat summer 2002 one night when we went out dancing at the Last Supper Club. We hit it off like we were old friends, swapping sailor stories and laughing all night long. . . . Ok we were both Coasties at one point. I am glad I have gotten to know you Kat. |

Kat, Me, Jessica and Jessica
There is a great story about how I met both Jessica's. You'll have to ask me sometime. Lets just say I didn't know they were roommates at the time. ;) |

Greg and Sharon Miick (Summer 2001)
When I first moved to Seattle in the winter of 2001 I was working at a company called Salinas Group. The first day there I witnessed a riot, the second day there I was in the middle of Seattle's great earthquake, the third day I met Greg. It should have been a sign to move back to Portland. ;) |

Greg you've been a great friend, even if you do have strange taste in hats.

One of my reasons to move to Seattle was to start dating again after a long hiatus. Well The first attempt almost landed me in another wedding . . . . I am glad that didn't work out, but one of the next gals I dated was Molly. This woman knows how to enjoy life to the fullest and make you laugh all night long. |
|
|
|
Molls and I have stayed great friends even though we only dated for a couple months. We call each other from time to time with our latest dating stories. I am not sure which one of us is crazier . . . ok I do, its you Molls. ;) |
