The best part of any trip are the small country roads. Here is one east of Couer D'Alene lake.

"It's not about the destination it's about the journey."
With those words Jessica set off on a road trip to Milwakie. Jessica's mom, Karin, took this same trip from WI to Wa when Jessica was about Lexi's age. In Milwakie they will pick up Karin, where four generations of women will be together for a few days, before turning back around and heading back to Wa. I tried to convince Jessica to take my old VW that I was picking up in Idaho, but I think the thought of push starting it everytime she stopped for gas was a bit much. ;) |

Trevor and Kelly
Trevor has been a good friend for years. This is his girlfriend and mother of his son. We visited them on our way through Idaho to pick up my old VW camper van. |

Jessica loved the decor so much that she had me take a bunch of pictures of her all over the place. This is one of several Vanna Upp photo shoots.

We stopped for a short bit along the way and saw this rope swing. You know me, there was no way I could pass up the temptation to try it out.

Lexi wanted to try it out as well, but it was only Jordan and I that made it in the water.

We camped out here at Lake Kilarney just east of Couer D'Alene, ID.
