My first stop on the trip was this pub. My first Guinness on the trip . . .and who do I spend it with but a couple Australians. What a way to start a vacation.

Can you believe that he was 54 and his wife 34. You just have to admire that. ;)

London Friends

I met this group in the hostile where I was staying. (The Generator) We had a blast that night. If you ever stay in a hostile in London I highly recomend the Generator. It's a lot of young people, but they have their own bar that stays open till 2 AM, and later if you are nice to the staff. ;) This group brought me down to Lanciester Sq. An amazing first night on London.

Gypsy Queen

Ok so I realized that there are freaks in every city. London is no exception. This one was an exceptionally freakish, but very funny gypsy woman.

Hendrix Lives in London

This man not only played left handed but gave Hendrix a run for his money. When he heard I was from Seattle he was jazzed. I droped him a 5 pound note and sat back and enjoyed the music.

Lanciester Sq.

After a long evening in the Square I realized that the tube was closed and I would have to walk all the way back so I sat down for a while before the long trek home. I sat down next to this couple. We talked for about an hour about US politics and why an American could love his country but not agree with it's politics all of the time. Hey it was late and they asked. It was actually a lot of fun talking with them. I think I was the first American they had ever met. They were from Eastern Europe visiting London for the first time.

Like a tourist I had to get a picture with a London Bobbie, but like a McSheehy it had to be with a cute one. ;)

Saucy bar maid

Every bar needs a bar maid that is willing to give you a hard time just for the pure sport of it. I found a great bar in Noting Hill during Carnival with such a bar maid.

Believe it or not this is Grace Jones

No really!!! I spent the night with Grace Jones and her boyfriend. We all met in Notting Hill during the Carnival. What a night! Carnival was amazing and there were so many people having a blast. Grace invited me to come back to their place and hang out with them and so the adventure began. A long walk in search of a cab that never came, finally we found a bus packed with tons of people coming back from Carnival. Grace I am glad I met both of you. I had a great time.

Two beautiful lady's from Australia

I had a blast with these two (Felicity and Jennifer). We took the bus from Dublin to London together. Neither one had a place to stay so I suggested staying at the Generator with me. I was leaving the next day for Florida to see my brother and father, but the thought of continuing my trek through out Europe with them was very tempting. We laughed all night long even harder when I walked them back to their room and saw their naked Italian roommate freak out that there were two guys there. One of us was actually staying in the same room and she wasn't giving any ground. I guess they didn't explain that these were coed rooms. ;) . . . And no, I was staying in a different room. ;)

Scottish Girls in South Miami

Ok so this is a little out of sequence. These are two very sweet girls that I met in South Beach Miami. I spent a night there after being in London, on my way to Tampa to see my brother.
