Vegas June 2004

Steve & Samantha at Fado. New found friends.

My first night in Vegas was spent with my old roommate Seth. Of course he new right where to take me . . . an Irish bar.

After the first night with Seth and the next couple days with my folks I check in to the room at NYNY. I love this place.

This is my first night of the bachelor party at NYNY. I have been on the floor no more than 10 minutes and already have swooped up this poor unsuspecting 21 year old. ;) Deanna was very cool we hung out over several drinks while I waited for the guys to all gather.

Meier, Gramps and Stevis starting a very long evening at the Piano bar in NYNY. I actually remember this picture being taken. Not too much after this point. ;)

Monte and I starting the evening off at the Dueling Piano Bar in the hotel

Porter, Monte, myself and Dumass

I don't remember her name, but all the guys remember the body shots the next day.

Holly! One of the sweetest girls I met that first night. How do I know that if I can't remember half the people I met that night. There are bits and pieces of memories, One of a roller coaster ride, random toasts, shots that should never have been taken, a kiss with a very sweet woman. . . . ok I don't remember the kiss, but I was told about it the next day, but I do remember talking to Holly thinking "This one is a keeper" "God I wish I was more sober."

These gals were great.

Yes this would be somewhere in the evening that I can only go off of accounts from the rest of the guys. They did tell me that on top of being funny as shit I was still a complete gentleman. . . . Thank God!!!

Who were these girls?

. . . and these?

???

I don't know, but damn am I having fun!!!

Ok a fresh start "I am not going to drink today . . . Yeah right!" Meier orders his first of 20 BloodyMary's and I start my breakfast off with a Corona.

From breakfast we venture to the pool over at the Flamingo where Stevis met some girls the night before. . . . I guess I did as well seeing as Holly was in this group . . . This is where I heard about my drunken events the night before. "I kissed who?" . . . ok about now you are probably thinking this man must drink all of the time? No, but every once in a while I seem to really tie one hell of a drunk on in an epic proportion. ;) What better place to do it than a bachelor party.

Drinking Poolside

These galls moved over by us to avoid the drunkassery going on at the end of the pool. We all started talking for a while and found out they were all from Washington.

Dinner at the Palms at The 9.

Here Meier is in rare form . . . 20 BloodyMary's down and still going strong!!!

Monte, did anyone tell you the dress code before going to the 9?

How such a fine dinning establishment let all of these jackasses in I'll never know.

In true Gramps fashion I went over and entertained a bachelorette party during one of the lulls in the quite dinner. They had a list of things they needed to do that evening. I helped with advice from a divorced man on what not to do in bed, here Stevis has offered up one of his condoms for a good cause.

Actually it was after I grabbed this bechelorette party and merged them with us that the manager of the place came over to quell all of our fun. "This is a fine dining establishment sir." Bite me, you advertise for bachelor and bachelorette parties. What do you expect?

After dinner we decided to cause more trouble and merge with another bachelorette party. Here one of the gals tries to connect me with one of her "What's That Guy" party cards. The guys see that she has Booty Call Guy and point her in my direction. Hey, just because I have a good personality and have no problem meeting people doesn't mean I am the booty call guy . . . does it? ;)

After being escorted out of the 9, yes we were kicked out and we weren't even drunk!!! Anyway, After that we proceeded to the next event for the evening . . . The Spearmint Rhino. So I ordered us a Party bus for a ride in style. ;)

Here we are. The whole gang together outside the Spearmint Rhino. I don't know what it is about this place, but the last bachelor party I was at two years ago I ended up spending the whole time talking to a dancer about her life and where she is going and having a great time just talking. This time it was Stephanie. Another very cute, not so devote Mormon from the Salt Lake area. ;) Stephanie you were the best.

A pictorial review of the weekends events would not be complete without a picture or two of the bachelor party's mascots . . . self appointed mascots. I don't remember their names, but boobzilla and boobasaurus-rex or more comonly reffered to as Kweefe's Amazon women.

They latched onto poor Kweefe like there was no tomorrow, but never fear Kweefe having found true love in his life was a good boy through and through.

Porter on the other hand still couldn't score any action. Porter we are going to have to work on your approach a little more.

The official Taggart "Last Dash for Ass" T-Shirts.

After a couple hours at the SR we ventured back to the hotel piano bar for another night of dancing drinking and all around good times. I actually remember this evening in it's entirety. Good thing because we connected up with some fun galls from Washington, who were there for . . . what else, but a bachelorette party. ;) This is our Bachelor Taggert dancing with the Bachelorette Julie.

Here Monte and I are with JJ, the bride too be's sister-in-law too be, JJ. I hope I connect with you guys in Seattle at some point, we really had a great time with all of you.

Julie must have been one hurting puppy after this evening. I believe it was somewhere about this point that she dove into the dueling piano's.

. . . and this must have been after we picked her up.

But like a trooper she was back up and partying like a rockstar!!!

You girls can call me anytime you are out on the town in Seattle. You girls really made the evening.

Julie, I just have to ask. How much of this evening do you really remember? Don't worry I was there the night before. Ok I didn't dive into any pianos, but who knows there were a few moments that they lost track of me.

And as we finish the evening one of the last songs sang at the bar is sung by Taggert, "Sweet Home Alabama"

Wait no the evening is not over . . . It maybe 3:30 in the morning but there are people to still harass. What better than a couple girls from Austin Texas and a girl from Sidney Australia.

And the very end of the evening at the last bar remaining open in the hotel we meet Maureen and her sister Kristine. Thanks for the great conversation and the new nickname Maureen. ;)
