Not all people who work in a CPA firm are stuffy!!!

Here I am at 1 1/2

My second birthday

My first train set at age three.

My first suit at age four. . . . Hey don't look at me I didn't buy it. I wasn't even dressing myself yet. ;)

Age seven. The dorky years.

I had just moved to Huntington Beach California when this picture was taken . . . still wearing the toughskins from the farm in Florida.

This was taken the night of my eigth grade graduation dance.

Here I am in my junior year in highschool, I am center stage in the cast of Company.

Before you laugh, some of the people in this cast have actually gone off to successful professional music and acting careers. Then some have also gone of to work as geologists, financial analysts and some ended up with a degree in Middle Eastern History working in the High Tech industry. ;)

My senior year picture. No that was not a mullet!!!

This was taken by my first girlfriend Missy Hewes my first summer in the Coast Guard.

This was my second bike and the begining of a lot of traffic violations.

Speeding in an area where there are only 5000 people and only one yellow and black sports bike in a 150 mile radius isn't the smartest thing you could do. The cops would just drop my speeding tickets by the CG station at the end of their shifts each time they would catch me. Some lessons in life cane be pretty costly.

Age 21 back home for a visit Christmas 1989.

Age 22. My last summer in the Coast Guard.

I was starting to see the light at the end of tunnel. I just wanted to get out, start college and put some distance between me and the Coast Guard.

Age 24 and I have been married for over a year now. I am in my sophmore year in college.

This me with my ex-wife in 1996

Obviously the liberal education has influenced something. I am walking around barefoot and log haired, but I am still the conservative columnist at the university paper and working with inner-city teens at a church in Portland. I am a walking contradiction and that’s the way I liked it. Keep them guessing.

I am 31 here at a friends wedding.

A few years out of college and my life has taken a few unexpected turns, but I have a house now, several great friends and I am building a career as an IT professional, presently working as the IT Manager for a large hearing healthcare company.

32 and taking a trip through Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho with my dog Ceili. I am still trying to figure out my next move . . . Seattle.

The long flowing locks are soon to go. ;)

33 and living in Seattle now. Here I am the following summer on my way to guide a rafting trip on the Deschutes River.

Life is looking good. I am running my own company and making ends meet.

I have moved to Seattle and opened my own consullting company after the company that brought me to Seattle tanked. It's offering me a lot of time to travel and do things I have wanted to do for a while.

What better than to find someone to travel with me. This was my girlfriend Denise. We dated most of my first year in Seattle. She lived in Bellingham and I did a lot of driving. ;)

Here I am at my favorite Irish Pub in the Seattle Area. The Owl n Thistle.

My friends know that I live for a good night out listening to Irish music and drinking a fine pint o' Guinness (aka Mother's Milk).

Here's my little girl Ceili. I don't know where I would be with out my pups.

Griffin was the latest addition to the family.

My ex-girlfriend Denise and I parted ways after my first year in Seattle, but I ended up with the a great dog. He's quirky as hell. He talks through moans and groans and the damn dog never leaves my side. You'd think he had always been mine. Thanks Denise. ;)

Here I am with my sister's son Travis.

I have yet to settle down and have my own. Something I would still like to do if the opportunity ever presents itself, but for now I am enjoying the role as Uncle Matthew to my nephew and niece.

I have been surfing the Oregon coast with my best friend Steve since 1991. Even though I live in Seattle now I still make a few trips each summer.

Summer 2002

I am 34 as I travel for the second time to Ireland. I've just met these two Irish guys and schooled them on how to meet a table full of beautiful Finish girls. They were great students.

Summer 2003 and I am 35. Here I am on a trip to the coast, still surfing when I can. This is one of my favorite spots, Short Sands in Oregon.

Out at the Lucky 7 with friends in Kirkland where I am living now, . . . not the pub, Kirkland. Ok, I have probably spent a little too much time getting to know the local pubs, but there is always a time and a place for that at some point in your life. ;)

Christmas 2003.

I have been living in Seattle for nearly three years now. I have made some good friends had some fun traveling and learned a few good lessons as well . . . Ok, I am still learning a few lessons, but I have a stable job at Safeco Insurance and living in a great house in Kirkland overlooking Lake Washington.

Just turned 36 and spending the winter snowboarding. Here I am up at Crystal Mountain.

What's next?

Out with friends in May 2004

Summer 2004 . . . . And if I can pull it off this next summer, it will be a Harley Fat Boy that I am riding to Sturgis.
