Tiki Bar Crawl (San Francisco)

Vegas June 2004

Ireland & England 2002

Idaho Trip 2003

Lisa and Norman own a shop on the way to Stevens in Gold Bar.

I stop every time I go up there to catch up with them. They are great people, sell cool shit and have a great coffee bar. The first coffee Tiki bar I have been to. ;) You two are the best. I am looking forward to hanging out more this summer.

We take Hwy 2 to get to Stevens pass. It's one of the best views you could imagine.

See what I mean?

But nothing beats a view from the top of Seventh Heaven, Steven's highest point.

Todd and I made the last trek of the season together. It was an amazing day.

In search of some fresh powder coming off of Seventh Heaven I found a cliff. Thank God it wasn't too far of a fall. ;) As you can see I lost my board on this fall, but that's not all, I decided to call friends from the top of the mountain and brag about my perfect day. Well I forgot to close my jacket pocket and lost my cell phone as well. This was an expensive day on the mountain, but well worth it. ;)

The last day of the season for me. I have gone from Daisy Chair to Seventh Heaven in one season. Ok I still have some things to learn, but it was a great season.

Here I am with my ready to conquer a double black diamond on my fifth time on the slopes for my first season snowboarding. Lisa and Tom took me to the back side of Stevens and really stretched my snowboarding skills . . . ok there were a couple face plants. ;)

Here I am with Kat Huchel, a good friend I've known for the last couple years. She invited me to join her friends up at Crystal Mountain.

Second time boarding.

I spent most of the day helping Kat and her friends get the hang of snowboarding. A novice, teaching the beginners. It's like the blind leading the blind. Actually they did pretty good and I think I am starting to really get the hang of this myself.

The weekend after Crystal, Lisa and I decided to go snowboarding up at Steven's. As you can see snowboarding lends itself to those who are just a little off. ;)

Of course it's always important to look good when you are boarding.

I went with Eric and Joy a couple days after hitting the mountain with Lisa and her friends. I don't think it ever stopped snowing.

Here are Abbey and Sarah with Kat their older sister. It was Kat's birthday weekend so we went snowboarding up at Stevens.

I took Abbey up to a double black diamond that Lisa and Tim had taken me to two weeks earlier. It wasn't pretty . . . Ok it was actually funny. I managed to dissapear in a mound of snow. All that Abbey could see was the puff of snow as my body went down. ;)

Whistler Snowboarding trip Jan 2004. Jo, Me, Gwen and Laura.

Jo and Gwen in the Gondola heading up to midstation on Whistler Mountain. These two have been friends since Jr. High. I met Gwen through Laura and Craig this last year and Jo up at Whistler.

Craig tending to the sore knees after a day on the mountain. I am sending this picture to his doctor!

This is how the rest of us recuperated after a day on the mountain. Quarters at Dusty's!!!!

Elisa & Joy on the Way up to Stevens after a stop at Starbucks

Christy, Elisa and I just after Christmas.

Here we are getting off the lift. Christy never quite got the hang of getting off the lift (that's her behind me), but she could sail down the slopes. She was like a bullet. She just pointed the board down hill and kept going, . . . . although she's still working on turning and stopping.

Joy Looking Graceful in the snow.

A couple drinks after a long day of play.

How did I get so lucky!!!

Seth Walsh on a target practice trip outside of Ellensburg December 2002. Seth and I met when I was dating his sister Michaela. He ended up living with me for most of 2003. I have been lucky to have some damn good roommates. Seth was one of the best. He's now off to Vegas and riding his motorcycles in the sun.

The dogs deserve a little play in the snow. They love it. Griffin grew up in Salt Lake and Ceili was made for the snow.

The girls packed in the back seat on our way to go sledding.

Dan Meyer and I up above his family cabin outside of Easton.

Here's Dan's sister Jodi. She has a sweet smile and a great heart.

We were coming down the hill when Jodi's friends tried to ambush us. It didn't work out to their favor. ;)

Taking a break from sledding down the hill.

Here are Dan and I the night before after an evening of playing Kings at his family cabin. Why is it the game of Kings usually procedes a story of some crazy or stupid stunt that comes next.

Here are Jodi and her two friends Angela and Becky. They came out to spend some time with Jodi who was home from Switzerland for the holidays. I don't think Angela will drive up there without chains again. We had to tow her out twice. The second time she had turned onto the rail road tracks. Don't worry Angela, I almost did the same thing the night before . . . . almost. ;)

Greg Miick and I at Scottish Lakes (Feb. 2003)

Scottish Lakes is 17 miles outside of Stevens Pass. Here we were getting ready to ski the four miles back to base camp on our last day there.

Stopping along the way to base camp.

Greg on our first day at Scottish Lakes.

No I am not a Yankee fan, but it was damn cold.

You can do it!!!!!

The best way to keep warm on a cold winters day.

Ann and her mother stopping for lunch.

This place was heaven. . . . ok it was hell in the morning when I woke up with a tremendous hangover and found out that I decided to go skinny dipping the night before in a tub full of doctors and nurses I barely knew, . . . . but outside of that it was heaven.
